Everything else you might want to know before planning your trip to Ahmadi.

The exhibition is open Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The last guided tour departs at 3:00 PM. We are closed on Fridays, Saturdays and official public holidays.

No. Admission and guided tours are completely free of charge for all visitors — individuals, families, school groups and official delegations alike.

An advance reservation is strongly recommended — especially for groups of six or more — so we can plan the right guide and pacing. Walk-ins are welcome subject to capacity on the day.

Plan for 1.5 to 2 hours across the nine interactive galleries. Tours run at a comfortable pace and include time for questions; you're welcome to linger afterwards.

Yes — the entire exhibition is wheelchair friendly, with step-free routes between all nine galleries and accessible restrooms. Please note any special-needs requirements when reserving so we can assist you on arrival.

Yes. Among the most moving moments is the Heroes of Fire gallery, where documentary footage and immersive environments tell the story of the 1991 oil-well fires and the teams who extinguished them. Several galleries also feature short films and multimedia displays throughout the tour.
